0901 start to live in a flat

Finally moved to my true accommodation today. My dorm was actually much bigger than I expected. I guess there are like 100 students all over the world. the building was used to be a hospital so it had a very beautiful garden. Im not sure I can be friends with the all of them, but I will try to do some conversation and keep in touch with them in a positive manner. Also there are some friends who used to live in the same sport center. I think the secret to making friends is to remembering their names CORRECTLY. I met too many people during the orientation week, so actually I cannot remember all of their names. To be honest, I forgot most of their names. I will try to remember it by writing them down on my Evernote or something. One of my flat mate is from Germany and he must be very nice! I believe we can be a very good friend. Also I already have 5 or 6 friends living the same accommodation, so I can enlarge my circle of friends from them. After sorting my stuff, we did BBQ. At that time, I talked with my Chinese friends about Taiwan issues. She argued that Taiwan is a part of china but many people in Taiwan insist loudly that Taiwan was isolated from china and it has a completely different political system and cultures. I think Taiwanese try to develop in western way and Chinese mainland try to be conservative in opposition to western system and ideology. I wanna ask Chinese about what they think about its politics, like imposing a dictatorship over citizens by the communist party, and there are no freedom of speech.
