10/13 Trip to Austria day1

Fortunately, every single day was very good weather and we had awesome days in Austria. Compared with here Leiden, the weather in Austria is likely to be much better. 

During this trip, I was able to become close friends with Ada and Kosuke and also find some European issues I need to study more. Not only these acquisitions, I was influenced and encouraged by great ballet shows and strongly realized that I had to study history and religion more to enjoy and have great travels. And I found great points each city has and noticed my accompany`s attractive points. I’m really proud of having these great friends in Leiden.

Salzburg. It is known for being the birthplace of Mozart. Also this city was a setting of a famous movie “sound of music”. Actually, I had never seen the movie before having decide to visit Salzburg. But I liked the movie as I expected cause I like kinds of musical such as le miserable, Lalaland, etc. our hostel broadcast sound of music every evening. Anyway at first we visited Mirabell palace and garden, which is famous for the place where Maria and children was singing “do,re,mi” song in the movie. And crossed the bridge to go to old city district and Fortress Hohensalzburg. The view from the bridge was awesome, I felt as if I were on the bridge of Sanyo, Shijyo. But I could see the castle beyond the bridge so it was slightly different. 

After crossing the bridge, we went to a bakery to grab something for a late lunch. It is not gonna be an exaggeration to say that this ordinary looked bakery was the place I remember the most during this trip. I ordered salt bread and batter. The batter was stunning!! I’ve never had such a delicious bread with batter. Actually next day we bought batter made from Saltz milk in the supermarket and brought it through this trip. And now it is sleeping in my refrigerator. Anyway if I have a chance, I would like to visit the bakery again. After that we went to the fortress Hohensalzburg. Usually you need to take a cable car to go to the castle but we climbed up to the mountain and made it on foot. Hopefully we were very young and healthy so we managed to save 10 euro. The view from the summit was awesome. We could see the whole city of Mozart. After taking some pictures, we went to St`s Peter abbey. This place is also known for sound of music, where the family were almost caught by German soldiers. Also Maria was living in this abbey I’m not sure though. I’ve imagined the life of nun in this abbey. She must followed routine life and never messed it up I guess. I cannot imagine I lived the life like restricting the desire and keeping conversation with god. These females must have attractive points which women these days do not have.

 After that, I tried to go to the other sight seeing place but we could not find it. I regretted for not preparing well for this trip. We wanted to have some Austrian specific dinner but the schnitzel restraint was very expensive like 16 euro per dish. So we had a Italian instead. But this restrain had a great reviews and rated very well. As we expected, the dinner was very nice. We had pizza and pasta. I wish I could make this kinds of pasta.

 After going back to the hostel, we made a plan for tomorrow. And reviewed each photos we took on that day. It was the most awesome time during my trip. Every single pictures had a episode, especially pictures of one of us.  

i realized looking back pictures and talking about that time was very good. Looking back pictures reminds me that we travel in that place.  Taking a picture is not worth I thought cause it is mostly same regardless of who take them. Just memorize the scene right?? In my opinion, art is much more valuable than pictures because it describes about what they think and imagine and the world view of painting does not exist in this world, only in that painter`s heart. Anyway I slept very well.
