1025 awesome Wednesdays

Every Fridays we have dinner with dorm mates. we talked and played some games from 7 to 10:30.

after that we usually go to the international party. Today was first time to skip to go to there cause i have a test on this Friday.

in the beginning of September, i totally could not catch up with the conversations especially between native speakers, but today i think i could understand it better than when i came here. there are many native english speakers and they all are from different countries and therefore each of them has different accent.

in my opinion, Australian english is very fast and include many slangs but sounds close to American english, so it easy to understand if they speak not too fast.

and Scottish is very difficult to understand for me but my Scottish talk to me very clearly so it very nice.

what i think the most difficult is British English. many of my friends agreed that.

and i think my speaking skill was the main problem, but listening skill is also big issue i need to overcome.

today we talked about Australian diversity and female racist politician, but i could catch up with the conversation only around 50%. My non-native friends seemed to understand almost everything. ummm.

keep listing to BBC world news and try to imitate is good way to improve my listenting i think.

of course wanna try to talk more friends in english practically.

and today i remembered something i forgot but important in my life and i reconfirmed how important it is. dont pursue pleasure. just focus on what you really wanna do. what  you really have to do in your life. life is limited. not permanent keep in mind that.
