1130 things im thinking these days

today is the last day of December. My exchange has only 1 month left. After 7th of January, I will go to travel around European countries. And I’m planing to go back to Japan 3rd of February. I was in the misty of report crisis this week and yesterday I finished. Also I have no classes in the afternoon which is rare to me. My Australian friend really helped me out to write my report. Without his help, I think I could not manage to make it. The distinction between “a” and “the” is still very difficult for me. Also past present sentences. Yesterday was Wednesday so we had a weekly dinner from 8pm and after that went to the club and had beer with. Wednesday night is the nicest time to have English conversation. Three month has passed since I came here thou, I’m still afraid of speaking English. Especially with native speakers. I should not pretend to be like a native speaker but need to mimic my French friend. He is not a native English speaker but speak and listen to English in almost perfect way. He speaks very clearly and slowly, so everyone can understand what he is talking about. In my case, I try to be like as if I were a good English speaker and try to speak very fast and fluently, even though I have no confident about it. So sometimes my friends cannot understand what I’m saying. To avoid making a mistake, I just say some short word, and it is not so good custom to improve English I think. Try to make many sentences and speak clearly.

By the way, there are many LGBT people in my uni. When I was in Japan, I know only a few of such kind of people. Australia has been legitimating the same sex marriage. Two weeks ago, there were referendum to vote on same-sex marriage and 60% agreed to the bill. Also I strongly agree with the legitimation. There would be no demerits to legitimate that. My friend, who is she and has a girl friend, can love both man and woman but she said that she just love the people whom I thought attractive regardless of gender. Maybe the straight people just have a prejudice against gender. I was strongly stunned by her argument. Because of the progressive scientific improvement, we can do in vitro fertilization and also we can have a child through adaptation. Actually it is very weird for those who believe the natural rule of human being, but these miraculous things are gonna be possible thanks to the technology. If so, why do we need to marry to the people who are different gender? I’m sure this kind of movement is going to thrive in the following decades.
