0109 Venice day1
woke up at 8am and said goodbye to my roommates and headed to the Termini station, which was the central station in Rome. There are many trains in that station going to almost everywhere in Italy. I bought sandwiches in the station and went to Venice. On my way to Venice, it took 3.5 hours but I slept with my mouse opened. Why can I sleep like a baby while taking public transportations. Arrived at Venice Santa Lucia at 2pm. Walked to my hostel for 15 minutes but it was raining a bit. Fortunately, the past 2 days in Rome, the weather was completely nice. Venice with no sunny looked different from Venice in my imagination. Hanging out for 15 minutes, I realized the town had no cars. I was relaxed because the town was silent and peaceful. After putting my luggage in my room, I walked around the town by myself. The streets are very narrow and a bit dark but you can smell the see breeze. You can get lost easily because of the mazy streets. I had a dinner appointment with my friends from Japan, so just walking in the city till that time. And finally meet up with my friends and tried to go to have dinner…. But unexpectedly, my friends had a trouble with lost baggage. For him this is the first time to go abroad. So at first we went to the airport to ask if there was a luggage in the airport or the other place. Unfortunately, the lost luggage center was closed at 6 so we didn’t do anything in the airport. According to them, almost 60% of passengers who had been in the same plane got lost luggage. It was so weird but sometimes this things happened. Anyway we went to the restaurant to have dinner. Since I came to Italy, I had been solo traveler. So it was a bit difficult and not motivated to go to have dinner at restaurant and have wine. So finally I could have very delicious pasta. What a nice taste. Had such a great time with friends from the same uni and went back to the hostel. In the room, there were three people from chile. They cannot speak English well so it was difficult to make a conversation but there were so friendly that we managed to have conversation with google translation. They asked me like do you know something about chile? Shamefully, I did not know something about chile even though I have a friend from chile in holland.
