0110 Venice day2

moved to the different hostel cause it was a bit expensive. The next hostel was a bit cheaper but I cannot say the location and the cleanliness were good, but it was still okay for one night. Went to the supermarket in the morning and stayed there for almost 1 hour. I really like to go to supermarket in abroad because I can find some differences between countries. In Italy the types of pasta was very abundant. Also tomato source was so cheap, bought orange juice but the taste was quite normal. 

Met up with my friend studying in Venice and she guided me around Venice city. At first, we headed to a small island in which there are many colorful houses. I thought if I were the inhabitants of that town, I would have been annoyed by many tourists. These tourists do not use money at the island just they take pictures of “ordinary houses” and go back to the main land if Venice. And after that, went to the old second hand book store. There were only Italian books but the atmosphere was so nice. Bought some book marks as a souvenir. and took a Gondola for two euro. It was just to across the canal but still nice. The gondola for tourists costs like 80euro for 30 minutes. It is too touristic place and didn’t wanna spend so much money to gondola. So that was the best choice for me. This gondola was basically for people living in Venice. Because of her, I had a really good experiences for very affordable price. Taking water-bus as a normal public transportation like bus and train for us was so interesting. The water bus runs every 10 or 15 minutes by the determined route. And went to the university where she is studying. The university is located in several places in Venice and even in a remote island in which there were used to be used as an isolated facility for mental patients. And then went to have dinner. Had パスタ and risotto. It was really wonderful day. Tomorrow I will be in Barcelona.
