0111 Barcelona day1

got up at 6am in the morning and packed my baggage in a dark room and headed to the airport. Even though it was still 6:30, there were already many people working in the town. I figured out the reasons why Venice keeps its attractiveness. and it was my first time to take Ryan air, which is very famous for the cheapness. 

In my case, the ticket from Venice to Barcelona was only 13euro!!! AMAZINGLY CHEAP TICKET!! If you use Ryan air, you can travel around Europe very cheaply as long as you bring your printed ticket with you. If you forget to bring it, they will charge you 50euro. So in this case the price would be more expensive than you use the other LCC. Thanks to the Ryan air, I was able to go to Barcelona only for 13 euro and meet up with a friend of mine in the airport. Took a bus to the center of the city and went to the market at first cause I didn’t have anything till 2pm. 

Walked around the market and found some fish fries and Spanish meet balls. The fruit drink I had in the market was so fresh and tasty. Fruits and fish must be great in Spain compared with the Netherlands for sure. One thing I feel inconvenient is that Spanish people cannot speak English very well. Also throughout this trip in Europe so far, I realized that most of people from non-English native countries were not so good at speaking English. since I was studying in leaden, the students in my uni was able to speak English much more fluently than me. So I assumed that people in Europe and young students who are not from Japan can use English better than me, however, this presumes are not true I think. Dutch people and students studying in Leiden uni were super nice. So I don’t need to be depressed to realize my low level English and just keep training it little by little. Anyway in first day of Barcelona, I walked around the city and had a look at gaudi’s architectures. And had dinner at Spain bal. we ordered some bacon and cheese and omelet. The bacon was the best taste in my life. The shop clerk was so friendly and very like Spanish guy. Tomorrow I will go to サクラダファミリア, and join free tour.
