0117 Madrid day1

sorry I was drinking till 1am with my friends yesterday night so couldn’t write it. went to メスキータ in the morning. it was used to be an islamic mosque but after the Reconquista. Some part of islamic design still exist and this is famous for the place in which you can enjoy both islamic and christianity designs in the same building. And because of this only one feature of the church, this was registered as a world heritage. There are still the sculptures which indicate the direction of the Mecca inside the church. Some of the islamic part was destroyed and built a really gorgeous stands for choir team. it gave me goosebumps. We first stared out trip in Barcelona and headed to seville, Granada and Cordoba, there are not so many places to go to but each place has its own points to see. Also generally you can have cheap lunch and dinner in countryside. Went to roman bridge and climbed up some bridge. We had to take a bus to Madrid at 2pm. Till that time we had 2 hours so went to the supermarket and bought some bread, ham, cheese. This high quality of ham is the stuff that you cannot get in Japanese supermarket. Took 4 hour bus to get Madrid and arrived at 7pm. Met up with my Australian friend and went to Mexican restaurant together. We saw each other almost every day when we were in Leiden. But we haven’t seen for 1 month so really had many things to talk about. Also at 11pm, two of Japanese friends came to Madrid and had drink with. Such an awesome night. I’m not so strong at alcohol maybe.

and these days something is wrong with my phone especially camera and cannot save pictures in my phone even though it has enough storage. umm maybe i need to change phone after going back to japan. so i cannot put pictures on blog. sorry about that
